INDICATIONS
To treat high blood pressure (essential hypertension), to protect the kidney in patients with high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and with clinical evidence of impaired kidney function.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
If you are allergic to irbesartan or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, if you are more than 3 months pregnant. (in any case it is better to avoid taking this medicine also in early pregnancy) if you have diabetes or kidney failure and are being treated with a blood pressure lowering medicine that contains aliskiren.
