DESCRIPTION
Alerfin® tablets contain chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg, an antihistamine used to help relieve allergy symptoms affecting the skin and respiratory tract.
INDICATIONS
- Skin allergies.
- Respiratory allergies.
- Eczema.
- Prevention and treatment of allergies caused by medications, foods, jewelry, and cosmetics.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Do not use in patients taking MAO inhibitors.
- Hypersensitivity to the medication or any of its components.
WARNINGS
DOSAGE:
- Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet every 6 hours.
- Children 6 to 12 years: 1/2 tablet every 6 hours.
- Maximum dose: Do not exceed 24 mg (6 tablets) per day.
- Children under 6 years: Alerfin® syrup is recommended.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Oral.
- Over-the-counter product.
- May cause drowsiness; use caution when driving or operating machinery.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
