Vermagest is a drug from the group of emergency contraceptives, effective, timely and safe.
EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTION
It refers to those emergency methods used to prevent a possible pregnancy as a result of unprotected sexual intercourse.
WHEN IS IT USED?
Vermagest is indicated in all those cases in which an emergency contraceptive is needed: in unprotected sexual relations.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
It inhibits or delays the release of the egg from the ovary or interferes with the approach of sperm to the egg. If there is fertilization, it cannot prevent it from implanting.
HOW IS IT ADMINISTERED?
Vermagest should be used as an emergency method, and not be repeated within the same month.
